In this expansion to the popular Settlers of Catan boardgame players race to develop their cities while building fortificatoins to protect themselves and Catan from being attacked. The success of Catan has drawn in barbarians who come to plunder Catan’s wealth. In this popular board game you and your friends all compete to build new metropolises of Catan that are safe from would be attackers.
Once again you use your resources to exoand your settlement, however Cities and Knights of Catan also introduces some new resources (coin, paper and cloth). Add knights to defend your properties and Catan. If you have most nights you are the Protector of Catan and recieve additional victory points for defending the city.
